Here in Vancouver, BC, we are shaking off a cool, wet winter and embracing the light that spring brings us. Each year the sunshine reminds us just how important light is in our lives. As humans, we too feel solar-powered.
Reviewing some Barrisol projects recently we found ourselves admiring two installations form the UK. We imagine, like us in Vancouver, BC, those in the UK must also hold light in high regard.

The following installation, by Stiff + Trevillion Architects, at 40 Bank Street, London UK, is a perfect example of how Barrisol can be implemented to create a skylight effect using backlit translucent Barrisol sheeting. Watch the video here.
