Reviewing some Barrisol projects recently we found ourselves admiring two installations form the UK. We imagine, like us in Vancouver, BC, those in the UK must also hold light in high regard.​​

This month we would like to showcase the Lumiere Barrisol ceiling that we installed at Holt Renfrew in Pacific Centre Mall in Vancouver.

This installation is a stunning example of Barrisol's backlit translucent fabric.
In this case the light boxes are suspended, complimenting the other design elements perfectly.

To achieve even back lighting we recommend either florescent tubes (1 ft from the Barrisol ceiling membrane and 1 ft on center) or LEDs. When back lighting with LEDs the quantity and the spacing of the lights will need to be determined by the specific LEDs selected.
