"The Contemporary Art museum of Munich was inaugurated last May. Its architecture is based on a design and ecological concept. The architect Sauerbruch Hutton chose Barrisol Lumière® to light and enhance the exposed works of the XXth century among which the Andy Wahrol's famous paintings. Indeed, Barrisol Lumière® diffuses the light in a sweet and homogeneous way on the whole exhibition space. Furthermore, the Barrisol sheets are 100%, recyclable and are so perfectly adapted in this modern building turned to sustainable environment." - Courtesy of www.barrisol.ca.
This is an excellent example of a create, and aesthetic, use of light. Location: Brandhorst Museum - Germany.

2015 looks like it is going to be a busy year for the construction, architecture & design industry here in greater Vancouver, BC. Whether you are working on a small project.... or a large one... we can add some light to your space with custom translucent Barrisol ceilings... To achieve even back lighting we recommend either florescent tubes (1 ft from the Barrisol ceiling membrane and 1 ft on center) or LEDs. When back lighting with LEDs the quantity and the spacing of the lights will need to be determined by the specific LEDs selected. To view more photos of back lit ceilings please visit our Lighting Gallery.
